About Matchpoint Inc
Born From a Passion for Tennis, Built for Everyone
Established in 2023, Matchpoint Inc is Singapore’s first Virtual Tennis Simulator — founded by two passionate tennis advocates who believed the sport deserved to be more accessible, more exciting, and available to everyone regardless of age or experience. Located at Marina Square, we’ve created a space where cutting-edge technology meets real competitive spirit.
Founder, Mike Ho
With nearly 20 years of tennis coaching experience, Mike Ho brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion to the sport. Having competed and won championships at various levels since the age of 10, he possesses a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in competitive tennis. Specialising in the development of junior competitive players, Mike has guided numerous young athletes to championship success. Under his coaching and mentorship, several players have gone on to represent Singapore in prestigious international competitions, including the ITF World Junior competitions, Junior Billie Jean King Cup, and Junior Davis Cup. In 2023, Mike co-founded Matchpoint Inc with Avril, driven by a shared vision to make tennis more accessible, innovative, and enjoyable for players of all ages and abilities. Together, they introduced Singapore’s first tennis simulator in a shopping mall, offering players a unique opportunity to train, compete, and enjoy the sport in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment. Building on this vision, Matchpoint Inc subsequently expanded into pickleball, further demonstrating its commitment to creating exciting and accessible sporting experiences for the wider community. Through Matchpoint Inc, Mike continues to combine his passion for coaching with innovative sports technology, inspiring the next generation of players while making racket sports more accessible to everyone.

Founder, Avril Ong
With approximately five years of tennis coaching experience, Avril Ong brings enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching to every lesson. Specialising in coaching beginners of all ages, from young children to adults, she is dedicated to making tennis an enjoyable, rewarding, and accessible experience for everyone. Known for her patient and encouraging approach, Avril has a natural ability to connect with her students, particularly young learners. Her engaging and effective teaching methods simplify complex techniques, helping students build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and progress at their own pace. Her dedication and approachable personality have earned her the trust and appreciation of many students. Coming from a family with a strong sporting background, Avril developed a love for sports from an early age. Beyond her experience in competitive tennis, she is also skilled in basketball, volleyball and table tennis. Her passion for sports is deeply rooted in her family, with her mother having represented Singapore in table tennis. In 2023, Avril co-founded Matchpoint Inc with Mike Ho, combining their shared passion for tennis with a vision to make racket sports more accessible and enjoyable for the wider community. Through Matchpoint Inc, Avril continues to inspire players of all ages, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where beginners can discover the joy of tennis and pickleball and develop a lifelong appreciation for the sport.

You can make same day or advance bookings online via our booking page. Payment is via credit card or PayPal only. We do not accept PayNow for online bookings.
Minimum booking is 1 hour for both the Pickleball Court and Virtual Tennis Simulator. Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance and no later than 1 hour before your slot.
Off-peak rates apply Monday to Friday 10am–12pm and 2pm–5pm, excluding public holidays. Peak rates apply all other hours including weekends and public holidays.
Yes! If not we provide racket/paddle rental for tennis and pickleball at $7.50 before GST. You are required to bring your own pickleball ball. We do not provide balls for pickleball. If needed, we sell them
